Community Planning & Permitting Online Permits, Licenses, and Applications

Online Application Submittals

Many permits, licenses, and planning applications from Community Planning & Permitting can be submitted online. You can also pay fees and look up current or past applications online.

Please note that many types of Planning applications – such as Site Plan Review and other current planning reviews – are accepted pursuant to dates on a submittal schedule. For those projects, please hold off on submitting your application online until you have been given authorization from Community Planning & Permitting.

New users must create an account first. You need an account to apply or pay.

After you create an account,  log in to the application page. Then you can apply or pay a fee.

You do not need to log in to:

• View permits, licenses, and applications
• Request a building inspection for an issued permit

Instructions:

• Register for a new user account
• Apply for a building permit
• Apply for or renew a building contractor license
• Submit a planning application
• Add documents to an existing application
• Resume or continue an application
• Make a payment

Boulder County Permit Records

Boulder County Permit records such as Building Permits, Planning Applications, Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (Septic), Code Enforcement and Special Events are available for viewing online.

You do not need an account to view permit records.

Recorded documents such as Deeds, Liens and Covenants are available at Boulder County Clerk and Recorder online services.
